He is also a panel attorney with the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and a member of the Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association.

While the FAA is not a prosecuting entity, it has been forced to act as one since the Homeland Security changes after 9/11. Administrative proceedings and enforcement actions come about when regulations have not been adequately followed.
